ROLLE, Switzerland (May 25, 2011)—The European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) has awarded the 100% electric Nissan LEAF the highest level of car safety following its performance in the independent organization’s stringent crash tests. The zero-emission vehicle received a five-star rating, the first electric vehicle ever to earn this distinction.

ROLLE, Switzerland (July 30, 2010) - Amid strong global demand for the world's first affordable mass-produced, zero-emission vehicle, Nissan International SA will open order books today for Nissan LEAF in lreland and Portugal.

(Dublin, 30th July) Irish consumers will be among the first in Europe to get their chance to see and test-drive the technological masterpiece that is Nissan Leaf this August.
